This is Karina and her wonderful parents. The day we met on the beach was Karina's second time meeting with the Ocean. Her excitement and curiosity towards everything surrounding her made her run, explore and play with her parents to her heart's content. Her openness to whatever comes her way presented me with one of these unexpected moments when she padded a little dog walking on the beach. The dog completely surrendered to her scratching its head that its eyes shut close...I simply love this photograph! By converting the entire session into black and white, I wanted to emphasize on the genuine interactions of Karina and her parents as well as on Karina's joyful and playful personality. And, no one can make a cuter fish face than her!
